You get various skills that you can make use of to help you. The other main section of the gameplay is the Class Trials and this is where your detective work comes into play. The students will have a heated discussion about who the killer is and you need to pay close attention here.
Nonstop Debate, Hangman's Gambit, Bullet Time Battle and Closing Argument are the ways that the gameplay is split up and it is actually a great deal of fun. Having to pay attention, challenging what people say and then giving out your closing argument as you nail who you think the killer is! It is good stuff indeed and the kind of game that really does have you on the edge of your seat.
It literally had me hooked about five minutes in and it was the kind of game that I legit did not want to stop playing. It is worth noting that while the PSP version is great, they did release a better version for PC which is what I have played so I would recommend that you play that one over the original. It was a PSP game, it had a huge amount of text that would need localization, and it was based around a group of students locked in a school forced to kill one another.
Between its lengthy storyline segments, light puzzle solving, and fast-paced class trials, something magical has been buried in Danganronpa an engrossing murder mystery that excels thanks to a legitimately interesting cast of characters. Browse games Game Portals.
But that's ok. The information it gave was worth it even if I did figure some of it out. Rating: 4. I'm really sorry about that, but I really can't make a review without mentioning some things that happened in the games, etc. However, I will try my best to hide some spoilers.
I hope you enjoy! Wow the writing in this is atrocious. I've read light novels before and I even read fan translated light novels before and I rarely saw something so sloppily written. You can only blame the translation to a point I think they really did the best they could given material.
Also the art in this is obliviously not done by the main team or whatever from the games. It's not outright bad but the artist obviously has a thing for legs as they're not only front and center in every illustration but also t I really really really love Danganronpa. The games, the anime, and because of this I was super hyped when I found out that there were also novels. Problem: I don't speak Japanese. Solution: Read a fan-translated version. Second problem caused by solution: I can't be sure if I just dislike the way the story was written, or I just had a really unskilled translator.
The writing style made it too hard to properly read: the main character has some kind of short therm memory loss, which wouldn't be that FFCC Hacking notes. Great translation for this HUCard gem. Excellent fan tribute to the originals. Good changes but Plummet Challenge Game. Carpet Shark. Lost in Space. Featured Hack Images. Personal Projects. Blue Magic on Final Fantasy. Gaming Discussion.
